NIGHTMARE
NIGHTMARE
I closed my eyes
And fell in a deep slumber
Never thought I’ll get through
A world where no one will ever go…
But me.
“Where am I?”
I exclaimed.
But no one answered
Only echoes and the wind whispers– then
Deafening silence.
I wandered
Like Don Quixote at the back of beyond
Making my footprints on the earth where I’m at
Trying to look back
Someone was after me– erasing my vestige.
‘Who are you?”
I chimed in.
“Why do you have to know?”
He answered.
He disappeared.
I was stunned.
Just when I thought who he is
I tried to plan my lam
But suddenly…
I’m ensnared by four walls.
I was faineant at first
Until I heared him laughing
He showed up
A hooded figure; no face but sharp eyes.
I’m cold.
Lying vulnerably
I held my hands so tight
I’m still with taciturnity
Praying he’ll never get close to me
Please wake me up.
